In Taiwan, HCG actively seeks ways to create awareness of the ceramics industry through art ceramics contests, folk music concerts, and other community-based activities. HCG Taiwan traces the roots of ceramics fine fixtures industry to Chinese traditional art form.

In 1999, HCG played an active role in the advocacy program of the Jimmy Carter Habitat for Humanity. Apart from being a regular donor to ABS – CBN's Bantay Bata Foundation, HCG likewise, donated sanitary wares to the Humayao and Langkaan Elementary Schools located in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Aside from its generous donations, HCG is also involved in other charities such as – the restoration project of the Philippine General Hospital Children's Ward, as well as in the noteworthy endeavors of the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation.
