“HCG and PIA dance the night away”

            Last February 23, 2006, the Philippine Institute of Architects (PIA) relived the 70’s era with classic music and dance steps. The fellowship, dubbed as “Hapi-hapi sa PIA”, rocked the Marikina Hotel down with guests donning their casual street party attire. 

            A total of 115 architects from Baguio, Ilocos, La Union, Pangasinan, Cavite, Batangas, Cebu, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Davao, Zamboanga and Manila took pleasure in this annually-held event.

            Hosted by HCG-Lazuli’s pride, Mr. Romuald Ponce and Ms. Lily Chiu, the event started with an invocation headed by HCG’s Assistant Marketing Manager, Ms. Lynn Casiño.  Inspiring speeches from HCG’s Senior Manager, Ms. Ming Fen Lee and VP Steve Chien were also been given to extend HCG’s gratitude to the guests.

            To add more fun, the night was filled with parlor games and raffle draws. Everyone danced the night away with nonstop retro music played by the live band. Indeed, it was a night of fellowship which surely be remembered.
